DAY 01: EPHESUS ANCIENT CITY TOUR
Around 03:30 – 04:00 AM, our team will pick you up from your Istanbul hotel and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Izmir. After completing self check-in with the flight details provided after booking, you will take your flight to Izmir.
Upon arrival, our local team will welcome you at the exit gate of the domestic terminal. After an approximately 1-hour transfer, meet your group and begin this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
The tour starts with a visit to the House of the Virgin Mary, discovered by Lazarist priests following the visions of a German nun who described this place as Mary’s final residence. Today, it is a sacred pilgrimage site respected by both Christians and Muslims and is cared for by the Lazarist Fathers, who still celebrate mass daily.
Next, drive to the ancient city of Ephesus, one of the most important harbor cities of the ancient world and one of the Seven Churches mentioned in the Book of Revelation. Explore its remarkably preserved ruins, including the Library of Celsus, Temple of Hadrian, Fountain of Trajan, and the impressive Great Theater.
Continue to the Basilica of St. John the Apostle in Selçuk, believed to have been built over the tomb of St. John. Constructed by Emperor Justinian in the 6th century AD, the basilica remains one of the region’s most important pilgrimage sites. Although partially destroyed by an earthquake in the 14th century, its remaining ruins are still impressive.
The final stop of the tour is the Temple of Artemis, once one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, located near the ancient city of Ephesus.
During the tour, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and have the opportunity to see traditional Turkish handicrafts.
At the end of the tour, return to your hotel and enjoy a free afternoon at leisure.

DAY 02: PAMUKKALE AND HIERAPOLIS TOUR
After breakfast at the hotel, around 07:30 – 08:00 AM, meet your tour guide in the hotel lobby and depart for Pamukkale. The journey takes approximately 3 hours in a comfortable, air-conditioned tour vehicle.
Upon arrival in Pamukkale, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then begin your Pamukkale & Hierapolis Guided Tour. Explore the ancient city of Hierapolis, including the impressive Ancient Theater, Marble Street, and the vast Necropolis, known as one of the largest cemeteries of the ancient world.
Continue to the famous Pamukkale Travertines, the stunning white calcium terraces formed by mineral-rich thermal waters. Your knowledgeable guide will provide detailed information about the formation and history of these natural wonders. You will then have free time to relax and walk on the terraces.
You will also have the opportunity to swim in the legendary Cleopatra Antique Thermal Pool (optional; entrance fee not included), famous for its warm waters and submerged ancient columns.
At the end of the tour, according to your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival, our team will welcome you at the airport exit gate and transfer you to your hotel (approximately 1 hour).
